Shanlinxi Recreation Area is a pristine natural scenic area with mountains and water. The natural landscapes include Acacia Terrace, Shijingji, Qinglong Waterfall, Songlongyan, Liulongtou, Xiangyingpo, Xiangxingu, natural caves, four or five-meter-deep wells, a pristine natural forest park, Yan'an where swallows build their nests, the Eye of Heaven and Earth formed by the stone wall, Anding Bay on the cliffs, the Zhuxi Sacred Tree towering into the sky, the birdsong and flowers everywhere, the ever-changing sea of clouds, and endless mountain and forest scenery.


Every year from the end of winter until April of the following year, it is the best flower viewing season in Shanlinxi Forest Recreation Area. The main flowers of the season change with the seasons, including crimson mountain cherry blossoms, cool and noble tulips, various types of camellia, and the kingly peony, which has always been the favorite of emperors and concubines! After the Chinese New Year, the season enters spring. Friends may wish to come to Xitou and Shanlinxi to enjoy the flowers and walk in spring at the beginning of the year, relax, breathe in the forest phytoncides to recharge yourself, and meet the challenges of the new year with full energy!
